Almost all the old IITs have made it to the table with the Indian Institute of Science being placed at 33{+r}{+d}rank. The IIT-Bombay and IIT-Delhi are ahead of IIT-Madras. The ranking that was released late on Monday has put IIT-M among the top 50 colleges in Asia.
In the recently released World QS ranking Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has been ranked 43. While Anna University, Chennai has moved from the 300 plus band to 251-300 band.
